Creating Social Videos on a Shoestring Budget
For this series of social media videos, we used the one-man-band approach to video making. Or in this case, the one-woman-band approach. Producer and founder of Patina Pictures, K’Dee Miller, teamed up with Bianca Halpern, cinematographer and founder of the Los Angeles boutique rental company, Becine, to create these spots.
Creating Social Media Videos on the Go
Have you ever hauled an Alexa Mini + Angenieux lens to 12 locations in one day? Well, we have, and surprisingly we were still smiling at the end of the day.
To create these social media videos we had to be on the go – literally! We scouted bus stops across San Francisco in order to catch Compass branded buses as they drove by. We also hiked around the city to capture their bill boards and bus stop ads.
With these bold visuals and a simple script, we created two social media videos announcing the opening of the first Compass Real Estate office in the heart of San Francisco’s Marina District.
